You take the gray pill. After some time it starts to kick in and you see waves and sparkles all around you. Maybe this is some kind of LSD?
You get pretty engrossed in your trip and wind up sitting in the corner, watching all of the patterns shift and move. You are so focused on the trip, you barely even notice as the people around you begin shifting as well due to the effects of the Wave.
As you come to, you realize that you were not affected by the Wave while you were tripping!
