You start to argue with the genie, that you never explicitly wished for an item in the first place and why he would give you a toy-version of the infinity gauntlet, when you explicitly wished for reality to become what you want and not for a toy glove, you could also buy in a toy store, that does absolutely nothing. The toy is still cool, but... just why would he think, that this is a good prank on you, or a good replacer for your wish? It makes no sence and is absolutly stupid.
There was like ZERO room for interpretation.
You want to alter reality and a toy will never be able to fulfill this wish, so why did he give you that?

The genie's face loses its dumb, smug smile and he says: "So, so, we got a smarty pants here, ha? Good; Fine; If you don't want the toy-glove, I will take it back than."

With a poof the toy gauntlet disappears.

"... Well~ What will the other 2 wishes be then?", the genie says.

You rais an eyebrow and say that you still wait for the first wish to be fulfilled.

"Ok, ok, you win, gg, well played", he says and snaps.

You feel your head lightly pounding and in the next moment you realise that you now know how to program Video-games in like every major computer language on the market.

"You did not explicitly say the REAL reality. Enjoy your power over the virtual world.", the genie laughs to him self.
