Fred is a massive weeb with a nice guy complex. You aren't sure why you were friends with him, he just kind of hangs around your friend group without being invited.
Of course, he suggests going to his house to watch anime, which is what he always suggests. Even though you're not super thrilled about hanging out with Fred and seeing all the weird junk he collects at his house, nobody has any better ideas, so that's where you wind up.
