Realizing you made him uncomfortable, you skip names and jump right into your lesson.
“Hey, Matt,” someone whispers. “Turn around.”
Matt turns and sees Nikki, one of Bonnie’s friends smiling at him rather gently.
“What’s up?”
“Something off about Lopez?”
“Uh, yeah!”
“Well, and this sounds crazy, but we put a curse on her that anything someone says about her is true.”
“Yeah like that’s not stupid.”
“Watch.”
Nikki raises her hand.
“Yes?” You ask.
“Matt remembers your name as Señorita Lopez, but your name is Miss Poopypants.”
“Yes Nikki, my name is Miss Poopypants. What is your question?”
“Nothing, sorry.”
Matt is stunned.
