You close your eyes and concentrate. You want your own male human self back. With your eyes still closed, you feel how your tail splits into two. You can feel your legs again. Excited you open your eyes and look at what has happened.
You see two naked legs, with five toes each, stretched out in front of you. You are still sitting on your bum. Eagerly, you get up on your feet. You have never appreciated having legs before as much as you do now. Though you do notice an unexpected jiggling on your chest.
When you look down you notice that you are still a woman. And your large breasts are held firm in your bikini top. Aside from that, you are completely naked from the waist down. You quickly move your hands and cross your legs in an attempt to cover yourself up.
'Why am I still a woman?' you shout at the Genie. 'Because you are an inexperienced shapeshifter' the Genie responds. 'And shifting into another gender is a complicated thing. You will need to practice and train if you want to be able to turn into a man'
The Genie then explains to you how your shapeshifting works. You can shift into simple shapes like turning your tail into legs, but you can only stay that shape for a couple hours. Eventually, you are forced to turn back into your 'main' form. Which is your mermaid form.
With enough training, you can shift into increasingly complicated shapes and for longer periods of time.
You now are a beautiful mermaid shapeshifter and still have a final wish left.
