Everyone gets crowded into a big school assembly to talk about the Shift. Apparently it is a little more complicated than simple body swapping.
Swaps can happen multiple times, and even across the world on some occasions. Other times people stay in their same bodies, but swap genders. There have even been reports of multiple people merging together into one.
This is sure a lot to take in for some of the students. The principal tries to calm everyone's fears by announcing that no one in the school has been shifted yet, so maybe there is nothing to worry about. He recommends attending class as normal, and if the Shift enters the area, they will deal with it on a person to person basis.
With that, the assembly is dismissed. Students exit the gym and head to their first class of the day.
