A burst of lighting and smoke emanate from Ivan as you are knocked off your knees and onto your back by a blast of energy. You get up, feeling yourself all over, thinking that you have just been hit by the Gender Wave. However, you realize you are still a boy...something else must have created the shockwave.
You look up to where Ivan was just standing and see a full grown bearded man clad in a black cloak. His gaze meets yours.
"You were wise to pledge fealty to me, young one. I always suspected you were not like the others..."
"I...Ivan? Is that really you?"
"In the flesh." Ivan confirms, "A Great Magic has been released unto this universe. Mortal man trifles far too close to powers you could not possibly understand. Now I am here to restore balance, so that I might remain the most powerful entity in this reality..."
