You quickly try to think of something to do or somewhere to go but before you could consider what to do, one of your friends grabs your hand and begins to lead you somewhere. The rest of your friends begin to follow as he leads you in between some alleyways, away from the panicking people.
After what felt like you've been running for miles, your friend leads you into a backyard behind an apartment building, leading you into a small shack. As he opened the door, you look to see that it is actually a kind of bunker! Your friend lets you go first as he holds the door open for the rest of your friends to follow before closing and locking the door once everyone was inside. You ask your friend why was all this here before he began explaining that it used to be a basement for an old apartment complex before it was torn down but the basement was left intact.
As you look around, you can see that your friend made use of the room in the basement as you can see it was clean, fairly modern and that there were even a few rooms with beds! Your friends quickly gather around a radio as the radio frequency was being adjusted. Eventually you found a news station frequency, explaining that the merge had begun and how it was nothing like experts were predicting it to be. Apparently it was not one singular shift, but rather it acted more like a switch, and now people are able to merge with whoever they please. It further explained that now society is going crazy, as there are now groups of people patrolling the street, merging with whoever they can find.
Your friends looked around at each other in worry however you all soon calm down, as you all remember that you all are basically in a bunker and should be safe from whatever is going on outside. As it started to get late, you and your friends decide to go to sleep and wait until morning to figure out what to do next. You manage to find a room with a bed in it and as you lied down on the bed, before you could even pull up your covers, you are asleep.
(Author note: I know my chapters may seem pretty weird and they're probably straying fairly far from the original story, but to be fair the about section of this website says how "I want to see what crazy stuff you guys will come up with the parts you will write" so thats my defense. also the reason why I said "your friend" and not he or she is because in case anyone wants to add an extra part then they can make the friend male, female or whatever. Just wanted to say all this.)
