Your girlfriend rolls her eyes.
“Ugh, what is this, the 50s?” Asks Addi, being a bit immature and rude. “I’m an independent woman who wants a jo-”
/Addi suddenly agrees with Mrs. Beasley and believes she is making perfect sense. She cannot believe she never saw the truth that she shouldn’t seek a career/
Addi goes quiet, fixing her posture and nodding along with Mrs. Beasley. You made sure she wouldn’t notice this change.
“Why, when you put it that way, you are completely right,” says Addi. “I can’t wait to be a housewife like you. Care to show me the ropes?”
“Oh certainly dear! It would be my pleasure!”
The two start chatting about housework and shopping and all of that. Seeing them so in sync gives you a great idea:
