You try with all your might to move your legs but they don't seem to budge! You try harder as the figure gets closer and closer but as the figure gets closer, you begin to feel calmer. Eventually the figure was practically on top of you, and the figure's dress alone seemed to begin to engulf you.
As it began to merge with you, your victorian era dress was replaced with the spirit's large and elegant dress, at first being too small for you but your body adjusted. the loose pieces of clothing from the spirit then began getting to work, wrapping around your arms and elbows and giving you the spirit's opera gloves as well as the spirit's veil over your head, covering your face, however it still let your hair flow freely. Before finishing, the clothing seemed to attach to your dress like how it attached to the spirit. The spirit's torn up gown also replaced your dress's gown, but as the gown was added, your legs began to fade away until you found yourself levitating like the spirit originally was. Finally, you body and frame were adjusted to fit the dress.
As you two merged, you hardly realized what was physically going on, as you began to feel your very spirit merging to the spirit itself as you both slowly became one. Now that you are one, it is now your mission as well to protect the lake. Once all the changes were done, the spirit itself was gone, but now it is one with your body. As the changes were completed, instinctively you began to float above the water and go over the lake where you then descended into the lake, unaffected by the water.
Since the spirit has merged with you, you now understand that you have a unique purpose now.
