“But mom,” you protest aloud. “You aren’t a teacher! You’re a stay-at-home mom! And you never give me quizzes when we do school!”
You are instantly transported to...your kitchen! Mom is dressed more domestically with way better hair, and you realize, based on your new memories, that she never became a teacher (Emilia apparently hated that her mom taught her, finding it embarrassing). Now your mother has always been a homebody and delights in keeping the house in top shape while she homeschools you.
“Quiz? I said we’d hold off on school for the day! Can you help me fix lunch?” She asks you. You look down and see yourself in regular clothes now, no longer in your uniform.
This is getting weirder, but it’s a rabbit hole that’s worth it.
