Before getting to work on Vic, Kurt turns to you and orders you to come out of trance. You quickly do and, as you recalibrate yourself, are shocked (and angry, though being a mature woman you try and restrain it) to see this hypnotist man have your friend Vic in a trance!
“Ugh...” you moan as you clutch your throbbing head. “What is...what is going on? How did Vic get here, and why is she-you! You..you monster!”
“Valerie, please relax. My name is Kurt, and I am no monster,” he assures you. “I hope you are doing well...I just ask you, now that you’re awake, to sit back and watch carefully.”
“Excuse me? Watch what carefully? I want to know now, Kurt, if that’s even your name.”
Kurt simply ignores you as her turns back towards your friend and begins to give her hypnotic suggestions.
“Vic...everything I do to you will affect Valerie accordingly.
“Um...okay...” says Vic quietly. What does that mean?
“Good. Vic...you’re an older woman.”
Your friend winces. “I...I’m thirty-nine...so I s-suppose I’m older...” she admits.
Kurt laughs a little. “No, you’re a little older than that. You are...forty-four.”
“But I’m only...thirty...th-thirty...” she murmurs, unable to confirm her age. You notice your friend’s body starting to expand just a little bit as her expression tightens a little, as if it’s maturing. Her dress also becomes less of a hot-mama dress and more of a modest, almost matronly one. Is Kurt actually...changing her?
“My dear, you are forty-four. You turned forty-four on Monday.”
“I am...forty four. Y-yes,” she says submissively. You notice her hair get considerably shorter, now just dangling above her shoulders. Her body also puts on just a few more pounds. Her calm, slightly wrinkled face just looks like the face of a woman who is, at the very least confidently, well into her forties. But the most shocking part of Kurt magically making your friend five years older is that...you don’t remember her ever NOT being five years older! Victoria (not Vic, as that was too childish) was always a bit of a big sister to you, always advising against your antics and telling you to grow up a little. Though single, she always had her life put together. And you remember having celebrated her birthday on Monday, too. Your head, after calming down, immediately starts to hurt again as your memories jumble.
“What is...happening to Victoria?” You ask, frightened. Kurt doesn’t acknowledge that he heard your question.
“Victoria...I don’t like it,” remarks Kurt. “Your name is Veronica.”
“But m-my name...” mumbles your friend, visibly confused and tense. “Is Victori-”
“Your name,” states Kurt. “Is Veronica. Your name is Veronica and you LOVE your name.”
“My name...my name is Veronica...” says Veronica, suddenly completely relaxed with a tiny grin. “And I love my name...”
“You think your name is sexy and mature.”
“I think my name is...sexy and mature...” Repeats Veronica.
“Good, good.”
Veronica did love her name like that, but...didn’t you not call her that just a moment ago? And why does your head hurt when you try to remember what her name...used to be? No, that’s Veronica. Her name always has been Veronica...right?
“Now Veronica,” begins Kurt. “You are a driven and confident businesswoman.”
“A...d-driven and confident business...woman?” She asks, taken aback. That’s no who she was at all.
“Yes, you are. You’re the CEO of YCorp.”
“The...CEO?” She asks again.
“Yes!” Screams Kurt, growing frustrated and swinging the pendulum faster. “Obey! You are a driven businesswoman.”
“I am a driven and confident businesswoman...” Veronica immediately repeats, the three of you now standing in an office: her office (you now remember Kurt bringing you here from your still-intact home). As Veronica’s mind changes to match her new career-driven persona, your memories of Veronica start to fade away...as if she wasn’t a regular cougar like you, the two of you would have never met. You, despite your strong will and maturity, actually start to cry as all of the good times you had with Veronica leave your mind one by one, and you struggle to remember why you are even crying.
“And...you are very confident.”
“And you are the CEO of YCorp.”
“I am...the CEO...” says Veronica, her outfit transforming into an absolutely gorgeous blue office dress that just exudes power. Her hair is shorter and more brunette as well, now a straight bob that doesn’t touch the shoulders at all. Her expression adds authority to her already mature mug, and, as your final memories of Veronica disappear, you can easily surmise this new woman standing before you is quite the successful one. Satisfied with his executive creation, he gives her one last command.
“Veronica, strike a hot pose.”
As she does, Kurt turns to you.
“Why are you crying?”
“I-I don’t know!” You exclaim. “You brought me to this office and...I swear I know this woman but...I can’t remember why! We never met and...I’m just so confused...”
“It’s alright...don’t worry...” Kurt says with a grin, turning back towards Veronica.
