You spot a rather unattractive young woman walking on the sidewalk. She looks rather bookish and certainly in need of some hypnotic improvements, so you covertly follow her all the way back to her apartment downtown. Once she enters the door, you immediately knock. She answers right away.

“C-can I help you?” She says with a bit of a forced smile. It appears she had no idea you were stalking her.

“Um, yes you can, miss,” you say, reaching into your left pocket (your right one has the lamp) to grab the pendulum. “Just stand right where you are, please.”

“Um...alright?” She asks, raising an eyebrow.
