Narrowly avoid it, you dodge its lunge and begin to run! It gives chase and you try to outrun it but it quickly gains ground. When you think its nearly on top of you, you hear it squeal behind you like a pig. When you turn to look, you see one of the pods came down and snatched it up. It tries to break out but its stuck.

At this point you are pushing your luck. You probably should turn around now and try to find a way to open that door.
