You sit through your boring statistics class with Ms. Kelly, though because it’s Friday it’s not unbearable. Plus, she’s a busty blonde in her late 30s who isn’t half bad to look at despite her bookish glasses. Once everyone clears out after the bell, however, you make your move, hanging back until she notices you haven’t left.
“Do you need something?” She asks you politely.
“Yes Ms. Kelly, I have a question for you: do you like your life?”
She’s taken aback and quite confused, but offers a smile.
“I suppose so, but we all have things we don’t like,” she says in a calm voice, which wasn’t the reaction you were expecting. “May I ask why you are curious?”
“I have something that can change your life, Ms. Kelly.”
She chuckles. “What is it?”
You pull out your phone and show her the ALTER app. You explain it to her in great detail, saying how you can not only change people, but you can alter their reality and have them not even notice if you want.
“That’s quite nice, but would you mind going to your next class?” She asks, her next array of students huddled outside of her closed door. “I have another class to-”

The students immediately disappear, and Ms. Kelly blinks a few times before continuing.
“So please, let me grade. I think your little app is a neat idea but, seeing as i have no other classes, I really must focus on doing my job for the remainder of the day.”
“Ms. Kelly, please, at least allow for a demonstration,” you plead. “You have all day, after all.”
She sighs. “Fine. Go ahead.”
