Judging from her memories, Jo wasted a lot of time kicking important things to the wayside in high school. You decide to help with that.
“I wish Jo was born three years later than she actually was.”
The genie snaps his fingers, and Jo is now three years younger and only a junior in high school! Now being born three years later and having the experiences of those lost three years erased, her memories are completely different in nearly all aspects: from her friends, to her teachers, to her likes and dislikes, to her style, and even to her personality. Her body, of course, is less developed, though she looks mostly the same.
“Wow, perfect!” You exclaim, examining your new body and clothes. “Jo is going to have a great second shot at her last two high school years!”
“Oh, she will,” says the genie. “But it will be without me...you used up all three wishes.”
“What!?” You scream. “You never said anything about a limit!”
The genie just shrugs. “You never asked. But now, I bid you farewell.”
“Wait, sto-”
The genie snaps his fingers once more, vanishing. However, you only have a second to loathe his disappearance, as your memories of the genie are immediately erased, as are your memories of your old life as a guy. Now, your only memories are Jo’s, effectively merging your consciousness with hers to make it so that you were ALWAYS Jo Peterson.
“Gee...why does my head, like, feel funny?” You ask aloud, snapping out of some brief trance with a bit of a headache. “Must’ve spaced out for a moment...oh well!”
