She gives you an awkward, uncomfortable look.
“Mom, please, don’t do this AGAIN,” she groans. “Just freakin’ let me wear what I want! I don’t have to be some ‘proper woman’ like you!”
Mom? For a moment, you are shocked, but then you glance at your hand and see a wedding ring on it, which is very odd because you aren’t married! In that moment, it hits you: the app rewrote reality! You now married the father of that girl instead of her mother (logically becoming Mrs. Washington) and as such you gave birth to her, making her different and making her your daughter! You don’t know why the app didn’t change your memories to match, but the user must be immune unless they don’t want to be exempt. In any case, the app does work! And it seems you are in the middle of chastising your daughter for her audacious outfit!
