As you show him in, Carter angrily marches up to you and grabs your arm.
“BITCH ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?” She whispers furiously through her gritted teeth. “You let a STRANGER into your house?”
“I had a feeling about him,” you whisper back, and you have to admit, that is a very dumb response.
“I am a man of my word,” says the man, interrupting you two. “My name is Gordon Frederick, and I once worked as a museum curator. One day, I stumbled upon this artifact: a strange pendulum.”
Reaching into his pocket, he pulls out a white crystal attached to a chain.
“This pendulum has the power to instantly hypnotize anyone who stares at it,” says the man. “Furthermore, the hypnotic suggestions given retroactively alter reality as well. It’s a mystical item not to be used lightly, as it could curse…or bless lives.”
Welp, this guy is totally bonkers.
