Instead of giving her an answer, you raise the pendulum up again, putting her back under in mere moments.
“You know,” you say aloud, smiling a bit yourself. “I really like you as a dork.”
“You…really like me as a dork,” repeats Alexandra, blushing. Immediately, you cover up your mouth, frightened that you accidentally gave her an unintentional suggestion. However, your fear quickly fades as you realize just how true what you said was. Though she was very dorky, she was so cute and sweet, and most amazingly, she was actually kind to you! Isn’t that really why you turned her into a dork in the first place, so she would a nicer person?
“That’s…right,” you admit, confused for just a second as to why you rehypnotized her before it comes back to you. “Alexandra, you aren’t interested in my pendulum.”
“I’m…n-not interested in your pendulum,” she says, sounding less excited than she was a second ago.
“You really don’t care about it.”
“I really don’t care about it,” she repeats easily. Now, she won’t be a risk to be around with the pendulum, which is your top priority. Your job done, you release her from trance once more.
“Oooh, I feel kinda nice,” she says, giggling. “I don’t know what it is Bella, but I keep going crazy today!”
“Oh, don’t worry about it,” you say, joyfully. “There’s nothing wrong with a little crazy.”
“Haha! You can say that again!” Shouts your sister, unable to contain her agreement with that statement.
Alexandra is just so wholesome. Awkward as hell, but wholesome. You don’t regret changing her at all, as you like her so much like this. Now that your personal business is done, testing the pendulum seems like a great idea.
