Without a second thought, you reach into your pocket, grab the pendulum, and pull it out. Holding it with your arm extended so the watch is at eye level, Sherry is visibly intrigued by it, but her vivacious expression dulls as the mere sight of the pendulum (which you slowly begin to swing) starts to entrance her.
"Ohhh...what’s that?” She asks, enticed by the pendulum. “It...it’s pretty...s-so pretty...p-pretty...”
Once you begin really swinging it back and forth, she falls under its spell without resistance. Her whole body slumps forward a little, but not enough fo her to fall. Her mouth is wide open, and begins to drool uncontrollably, her mind evidently reduced to a blank slate awaiting your commands.
The genie wasn’t kidding; this pendulum works!
