The lamps are empty until someone rubs them, then they become a genie. You were turned into a genie with no recollection of your past life. Your mind is slipping away as the magic takes hold of your mind once again. You are in your lamp when your boyfriend of this timeline walks in.
“Hmmm. Where’s Sarah? And what’s this lamp doing here?”
He rubs the lamps and you pop out. Ready to grant some wishes.
“Greetings! I am the genie of the lamp. I will grant you 3 wishes.”
Woah, nice get up babe! I can’t believe your parents would let you get an outfit like that, but I’m not complaining.”
“I’m not sure I understand master? I have no parents and I have always been a genie.”
“Okay babe, nice acting. Now go change and come down stairs. Your parents are waiting for you.”
“I don’t think you understand master. I am a genie, I am thousands of years old. If I ever had parents, they would either also be genies or dead now. Please master, make a wish.”
Your boyfriend is starting to get freaked out, but then stops to think.
“So I can wish for whatever I want?”
“Of course master.”
“Okay then. I wish…”
