The building in question that you were going to was an abandoned appartment complex, which was crumbleing apart at the outskirts of your town. Thus far none of you knew why the building ended up like this, solely by an internet research all that was known was that a tragic incident had happened in one of the rooms, while the owner disappeared mysteriously one day and no one took care of the building site after it was rumored that the building was haunted. It was already a surprise that noone considered taking down this kind of building, given that it already seems to have a history with strange occurences in town, but in the end it costed money and was far away enough from the town. Kevin had driven the two of you here with a car. Now all you had to do was taking out that camcorder and enter the building. None of your pals bothered to come with you, given that the creepy atmosphere inside would be punishment enough, but in order to make sure that you didn't jinx it, you had to find the room with the right number.

That was your destination. But then again, who did say you couldn't take this more to the extreme and get a better look around for the time being to show your bravery? Not to mention that you can maybe gather some clues here and there, given that you didn't believe in a stupid curse, but were nontheless interested in the history of the building.
