You arrive at the beginning of the Route 1, and like just as you thought, you can't see the end of it. The road is quite simple with greenery and trees on both sides, you can hear the sound of Pokemon in the distance, in the tree and of course in the grass. One of these sounds, isn't too far away, it sounds like a squeak, you assume that it must be a Rattata.

It's not the best but it's a start, so you head towards the squeak, Pokeball in hand. You take him by surprise and launch a first ball, it fail. But the Rattata seems to be confused, so you take advantage of it and launch second ball, which also fails. The Rattata starts to get annoyed and growls at you.You launch a third ball but the Rattata dodges it and charges straight at you. It prepares to bite your leg but you manage to evade and counter with a kick right in the jaw. You throw a fourth ball, and now it's the good one: you've caught a Rattata without a Pokemon.
