"Uhm Hey um Hi..." You say nervously offering your hand for a handshake with David. Your hands felt tiny and soft in his strong hands. He looked like someone who worked out everyday. You were so busy checking him out nervously that you forgot to take your hand away from the handshake and did not even introduce yourself.
David then took his hand away and smiled. "Umm its nice meeting you umm class mate?" he said to you.
"Yes Yes same here and yes um its great to be classmates.." you spoke still nervous. By now Tina and the guy next to her had already introduced each other to themselves. Noticing you were messing up, Tina turned back and gave you a look. "Liza, tell him your name..." Tina wishpered to you.
"Oh yes... um Hi I am Liza, nice to meet you" You said.
Tina nodded her head in disappointment with your nervousness. "Wow, you have a very pretty name just like you" David said.
What was happening? Why is this making me blush? OMG I feel so uncomfortable, I need to get out of here... you thought to yourself. You just smiled at David and said "Yes". Surely David was finding you weird. To make matters worst you got up telling Tina that you needed to go to the washroom and left the class. Tina followed you.
In the washroom, Tina asked you to calm down. She had a chat with you and got you to feel better. You guys then headed back to the class and took your seats. At the end of classes that day, David asked you if you and Tina would like to watch their game. David and his friend were both part of a inter school football team and they had a match that day.
You and Tina stood in front of the boys with your purses handing on your shoulder, ready to leave... but then both of you looked at each other had a tiny conversation through signs and eyes only after which, Tina turned to the boys and said, we'll come!
You and Tina took seats at the ground and waited for the boys and their team to come onto the field. This was the first time you were in the stands and not on the field. As the game began, David became the leading goal scorer for his team. However the match went into 4-4 towards the end with only a few minutes remaining. Everyone in the crowd was quite and watching the intense game.
David took control of the ball and marched forward towards the goal and scored a last minute wining goal! You don't know why you did it but you jumped of your seat clapping your hands and celebrating the goal!
Everyone noticed this and the moment you realised what just happened, you felt very embarrassed, adjusted your skirt and nicely sat down covering your face.
After sometime when the teams had left the ground, you and Tina were about to get up and leave, when someone tapped your shoulders from behind. It was Sarah the head of the schools cheer leading squad.
"Hey girl, loved your celebration... Would you like to be a part of our cheerleading squad?" She asked you...
