As you lay in bed with the innkeep, your fear and uncertainty gave way to a sense of determination. You knew that you weren't up to the task of defeating the big bad, let alone completing an assassination contract. But you also knew that you had to keep trying. When the innkeep told you about the assassination contract on a tentacled monster, you saw your chance to prove yourself and make a real difference in the world. You spent the next few days preparing for the mission, practicing your swordplay and sharpening your wits. You knew that this wouldn't be easy, but you were willing to do whatever it took to succeed.
