You rush for the deck, but Suzie does too. You two struggle and cards spill everywhere. You grab the first card you can find but so does Suzie. For a second you're locked in a stalemate, both unaware of what changes you could make for each other. The tension is broken as the door clicks open. The store manager is standing in the door way, a crowd of people behind her. To your horror, you see that several other people have picked up cards as well.
