Turns out the woman is a witch. She used to be a white witch that liked dressing in pineapple dresses, and now that she's a dark goth, so is her magic--very dark.

She sees you going for the lamp to make another wish--maybe something stupid like turning her into a vampire in the broad daylight. But before you can get the words out she paralyzes you with a spell.

"Now what do we have here? Someone playing naughty with a genie lamp?" Her lips curl into a smile. "Well lucky for you, I like naughty..."
