"I've heard about this sort of thing..." Alex starts, "Usually you get three wishes, but more often than not they get twisted some sort of way, so you have to be careful..."
"Twisted, like how?" you ask.
"I don't know, it depends..." he replies, "A lot of times in movies and shows your wish backfires so you learn some kind of lesson. I've also read ones on the internet where the genie has some kind of hidden agenda or endgame, you know?"
The genie emerges looking somewhat annoyed to tell you in fact that it is true. He goes on telling a very long story about why this is the case, confirming what Alex said.
After the genie's two hour long story, he concludes," In short, that is why most if not all wishes through me end up with somebody being turned into a girl. It's OK, wishing to undue this rule is legal if you want". Way to ruin the surprise, Alex!
