You think that it's always possible that some kind soul found the lamp and left it in the lost and found. You camp out in the empty classroom for a few minutes, and once all the high schoolers are gone you leave and head towards the cafeteria, whichhas the lost and found with it. Upon arrival you rush towards the lost and found but closer inspection a note reveals that the lost and found has been moved to the counsellor's office to stop people from taking whatever whenever. You walk over to the counsellor's office to find it locked, with a sign saying that there is no councelling on Thursdays.
