You're enlisted in the military and are away from home at a base in an undisclosed location. Intel comes in to your superiors that the Gender Wave is coming. Your commander gives you all a briefing.
"It doesn't matter who you are now or who you may be by the end of the day, your asses still belong to the military, is that clear?:
"Sir, yes, sir!" you shout with your brothers and sisters in arms.
Your unit makes some of the first in the world to know about the Gender Wave, and the military is making preparations.
Command has a number of missions where they will need help. The air force and space force have both been utilized to monitor the wave and track any anomalies. The medical and science units have been tapped for emergency research. There isn't much time left, and everyone is being sent where the military feels they are needed most.
