"Like...die...?" Ben asks nervously, dragging his finger across his throat.
"No, not die, just..." Alex flips the page back and forth, making sure he hasn't missed anything. "One of us can recite this spell and make everyone else immune to the wave, but it will still hit them. So one of us has to take the hit, but everyone else will be spared."
"Everyone?! Dude...we'd be a hero!" Ben says. "Well, heroine I guess..."
So one question remains...who gets changed to activate the spell?
