You decide this is probably a difficult moment for the both of you, so you just knock politely. He (She) opens the door and immediately reacts, "Y-you are me!" The former you exclaims. "Yes, it seems we swapped bodies because of this magical lamp" you respond. "But why me? i was nowhere near this lamp, i don't even know who you are!"
"It was the genie" you say. "I only wished to work at a magazine company, i didn't mean to steal your life!". She (he) falls back onto his couch and begins to cry a little bit. You do your best to comfort her, which helps a little. You then remember the lamp, you still have two wishes.
You summon the genie and wish to swap back, but the genie shakes his head "sorry master, you cant make a wish to undo another."
You feel a sense of dread as all hope is lost, when the genie responds "you could wish to swap genders again, the only issue is you can never be yourself again"
