You raise the pendulum up to Mei, not even letting her finish.
"What are you doing?" she asks.
"Mei, you are under my complete control and will resist none of my commands," you say without hesitation.
"I... I am completely under your control," Mei says after a brief pause. Her resistance is totally gone. Now that you have the opportunity, you begin to think about why she might want it destroyed when she should be able to see the opportunities right in front of her. Realizing then, that you can just ask her, you do so.
"You will tell me truthfully why you want the pendulum destroyed," you order Mei.
"I don't want it destroyed,” she admits. “I just don't want to agree with you. I hate you at this point, and I want to make you feel wrong whenever I can," As she speaks, you begin to consider how this can best be rectified. You then have a devious solution.
"But Mei, you are completely in love with me," you say.
"I…I am in love with you," Mei slowly agrees. Her whole body language changes suddenly. Instead of that glaring “I know better than you” type stance, it is more of a, innocent “please like me” type deal. "You even dress skimpier hoping I'd notice," you say.
"I dress skimpier so you’d notice…" she says. Her skirt separates into two short legs which shrink until they are short shorts. The relatively informal shirt shrinks a bit so that the midriff is exposed.
"Actually, you are just in your underwear, which everyone finds perfectly normal for you," you say.
"I am only in my underwear…it’s normal for me…" she agrees. Her shirt shrinks down into a bra and her short shorts shrink down into panties You're pretty sure that is enough to end the dispute so you release her from your hold.
Mei blinks and then says, "You're right, we should keep the pendulum. We should do whatever you feel is best Bella.”
Part of you is now happy to Mei in the palm of your hands (even if it is forced), but another part of you wonders if you shouldn't do some more. After all, you were just starting to have some fun!
