Intrigued by the bizarre statue of a god, you decide to approach it, but you still can't quite figure out what exactly the appearance of the statue looks like, and just as you go to take an even closer look, you hear someone...
"This is quite surprising, I never thought that a human would enter this holy place, let alone take such an interest in our religion." You turn your head INCREDIBLY QUICKLY, and see a female inkling in priest robes that are similar to that of a kimono, with a cross necklace on top, right behind you...
Normally you'd run for the hills in this sort of situation, but this inkling seems to be different than the other infected. She's calm and collected, has a soft tone of voice, and even seems to take a liking to you. Other infected would've pounced onto you before making you into one of them, and wouldn't have chosen to talk to you, let alone in such a calm and soft manner, so you stay still, ready to bolt out of there if she even tries to turn you...
The inkling priest begins to speak, "Don't worry hairy one, I'm not like those other infected that you've been seeing everywhere outside, I'm quite the calm woomy myself. However I can understand if you want to leave the church. After all, most of the humans that remain would want to get away from us as soon as possible, but you're different, aren't you? You're standing completely still and are even somewhat calm in my presence. However, I can understand that you'd want to leave this place, so I'll give you a decision. You can leave if you really want to, I won't attack you at all and will respect your decision, or you could pray to our god here by the statue. Who knows, you could appease him by doing so and potentially stop this plague for good, but there's a chance that something might go wrong when you pray, so I would advise caution."
You're genuinely baffled by what the inkling priest just said, SHE'LL LET YOU LEAVE?! Hell, she even suggested that you might be able to stop this plague by praying at the statue, but something could genuinely go wrong. However you feel that this just can't be right, is she just trying to manipulate you? After all, the infected aren't to be trusted, so she'll likely infect you no matter what you do, and now in a conflicted state of mind, you make your next move
