You are tired of having to act like someone else, so you tell Carl what happened. The lamp, the garage sale, the neighbor, the wish, the cops, and coming to Carl's house. Carl takes this relatively well, due to his beliefs in ancient magic and whatnot. Carl asks to see the lamp, and you take it out of your purse and hand it to him. Carl takes it from you very carefully, and sets it down on the coffee table. He takes a sip of the tea and slumps into the couch. Carl then asks you how do you plan on dealing with this, since you can't turn back to yourself due to the police being after you. You tell him you plan to hide here for a while, and just wait it out. Carl suggests to use a wish to solve things quicker, as without it you'd be stuck as a woman and be unable to go to your home without Earl notifying the police. You ponder this, and decide to use the second wish.
