“You know, I think a thank you is in order,” he says to you, smugly tapping the side of his temple as a reference to your increased brainpower.
Although your mind is a scrambled mess, your thoughts quickly begin to clear and your remember (realize?) that you are smarter than him now. Why does he get to keep you and Mei as his playthings? Your mind racing, you think of a plan…
“I will never thank you for completely rewriting our lives,” you tell him. “I don’t care if you took all of my intelligence away; you have no right to waltz in here and make us your puppets!”
Gordon’s expression immediately shifts to one of anger. “Hmph, I never would have taken you as ungrateful. Why don’t I change your tone, young lady?”
Just as you predicted, he faces the pendulum towards you! You immediately close your eyes, deducing it has no power over you if you don’t look at it. Still knowing where he stands, you march right up to him (careful not to trip in your heels) and with all of your might, shove him to the ground!
“What the hell you bitch?” He asks as he hits the floor.
“Your mistake for sharpening my mind,” you say, opening your eyes and promptly swiping the pendulum from his grasp. You’re ecstatic seeing his face go completely pale the moment he loses his power!
“Nonononono…” he mutters, visibly frightened. “Please…whatever you do…s-spare me…please!”
Standing above him confidently, you begin to think about what you should do with the pendulum…
